Charife Elkadri is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Provisional Psychologist who works with youth and adults, helping them navigate challenges and achieve personal growth. With expertise in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and motor vehicle accident-related stress, Charife provides a supportive space for healing and self-discovery. Certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Islamic Counseling, Charife integrates evidence-based practices such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), and Play Therapy to meet the diverse needs of her clients. She tailors her approach to each individual, blending her professional training with cultural sensitivity and understanding. As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Arabic, Charife is passionate about offering accessible and inclusive care. Asha holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and psychotherapist. With a genuine passion for mental health, she is committed to supporting individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Asha provides compassionate, effective therapeutic support to people of all ages, including individuals, couples, and families. She takes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing on a diverse set of techniques and interventions that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Asha specializes in addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, PTSD, depression, low self-esteem, postpartum depression (PPD), stress, relationship issues, and family dynamics, among others. She integrates multiple therapeutic modalities into her practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and a Strength-Based approach.
